Recognizing the importance of making vision care more accessible, Eye Can Philippines, Inc. – Tuguegarao proudly partnered with JCI Tuguegarao Ybanag for Project BALIK TANAW, a community outreach initiative held in Barangay Centro 01, Tuguegarao City.
The activity brought essential eye care services closer to the community, giving residents the opportunity to have their vision checked and receive professional guidance about their eye health.
Bringing Eye Care Closer to the Community
In partnership with the 1st Cagayan Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st CPMFC), Project BALIK TANAW provided residents with free eye check-ups, consultations, and optical assistance.
For many community members, the activity offered more than a simple vision screening. It provided an opportunity to better understand their eye health, identify possible vision concerns, and receive guidance on the importance of regular eye care.
The initiative was especially meaningful for senior citizens and residents who may have limited access to eye care services. By bringing these services directly into the community, the project helped remove some of the barriers that can prevent people from seeking proper vision care.
